Very good restaurant, reasonable price. Pizza tasted very fresh, and even though I'm more fan of the topics, the tomato sauce was amazing. Pizza is not big to what I'm used to in Italian restaurants. Waiters were very polite, and even though I'm a traveling student who decided to treat herself, I felt as if they treated me as upper class. The patio was nice and clean. Might be returning there before the end of my trip

They've been open for more than 35 years. An institution! Best home made pasta by far and so much more.

Fantastic Italian food. If you want to eat authentic Italian pasta just like they make it in Italy, this is your restaurant. The staff are friendly and the two terraces are nice.

Was excited to try this spot with my girlfriend. We waited 20 minutes and never once were approached by the server for drinks, water or questions about the menu.When we stood up to leave the server was rude and never offered apologies for the ridiculous wait.edit: I will note the pasta others were eating looked great. So dont let my review stop you from going. I know they must be struggling in a construction zone, which is why i was shocked to be met with such low quality service.

AMAZING expresso. Pizza was a bit salty, but they were very receptive about feedback. Business isn't very good because of the constructions on Bishop, but the food is great. Home made pasta for the spaghetti, tasty soup. Great service. Would definitely go back.

Best casual Italian food in Montreal All homemade pasta!

Portion somewhat small for the price, quality is decent but there really isn't much ingredients. I ordered a pasta the Gigi one and nothing else than pasta and sauce.

I start with a limoncello, we end with a digestif, expresso and tiramisu. Gnochi cento, Carbonara fabuloso. Terrace out front barely sequestered from construction still nice. I will return. CLOSED BY OWNER 4EVR!

This was out favorite restaurant in Montreal. Amazing food and service, but most importantly, here is the tastiest tiramisu we have tried, and we have even ordered it several times in actual Venice. So recommended!

Almost like mom made.

The food was nice. Serving was perfect. My friend and i did half an half. That way we both got to taste to dishes simultaneously and gives an idea of generally how the food is. Menu was good with ample suggestions to satisfy most people. But the best part of the evening was our server. He was really nice and went out of his way to accommodate us and pleasant throw out the evening. When you have welcoming and nice people it makes for a nice experience wherever you are.

The place is cozy, too bad the construction is blocking it. The staff were friendly. The food, especially my Noci, is great. You got to try this place. Excellent and Delicious. 😉😋

As a student during lunch your able to get a student menu that includes a soup or salad and a pasta or a pizza for 10$. for an extra 5$ you can get a dessert and coffee to top it off. I had the tomato soup and homemade gnocchi nochi (sp?) pasta which were amazing and I ate every last bite. Had the homemade tiramisu-a little more cocoa powder than I’m used to on top but still amazing. For sure going to come again, got a fidelity card that gives the 10th meal and dessert on the house-I have a feeling I’ll fill it up quick. Everything was so good I forgot to take pictures 10/10 would come again :)

A nice Italian trattoria with fresh home made pasta's. It has a small terrace where during the summer months you can eat.

Friendly service, delicious food. I had the cabonara and it was excellent. It tasted fresh, homemade and LIGHT, which is exactly what I was craving.

I went there today with my friends for dinner. The food was okay but the service was extremely poor. I ordered a smoked salmon pizza but the waitress brought the pepperoni pizza instead. I had to wait for extra 10-15mins to get the correct order. They didn't serve us any appetizer either even though it was being served on other tables.

Amazing waiter who was friendly and welcoming to my friends and I. The food was very fresh and not too expensive. The menu is pretty set in stone so there's not much to customize but there are a good amount of options for everybody.

Really enjoyed the sole and home made pasta here. It was much better than a usual downtown Italian.

This restaurant is hands down the best classic Italian restaurant in Montreal. I lived in Montreal for 8 years and a week would not go by that I would not come here. After recently moving to Toronto it is clear that I will not find another like it. I have never had a bad experience from the food to the service. The pizzas are simple and exquisite, the pastas just as good. Unfortunately from the reviews below it is obvious that people are looking for something more Americanized which if you want that, go to Boston pizza, this is not for you. It also seems ppl have a difficult time reading the menu, so maybe bring your glasses next time and don’t make a review based on your stupidity. If you do eat here, which you should, leave a five star review. It is hard enough keeping a restaurant going on a street completely blocked off by construction. Thank you so much for so many years.

My husband and I came here on our honeymoon and the pasta was delicious. Handmade in house - the spaghetti carbonara was the best I’ve ever had!

Excellent vegetarian soup and pizza

Located on Bishop st. downtown, this restaurant is a little gem. Italian fine dining in a laidback bistro style. Highly nuanced and detail centeric dishes. In summer they even have a nice little terrace. This place has been at this location long after this area was once considered the hub of fine dining in Montréal. The prices are altogether reasonable, and when taken with the sheer quality on offer, make this place a steal. Great for a date in the evening, business meetings and possible staff parties. On a random Monday in February during lunch, a mixture of regulars, duos, and a group followed on our tails and imbued the meal with atmosphere.

Fresh pasta, convenient location, excellent service.

Delicious freshly made pasta never disappoints. Wide variety of sauces which are very tasty. Besides pastas, the appetizers and other dishes are good but not incredible. Not a very large restaurant and the ambiance is nice and cozy, although some days feels slightly empty. Overall this is a solid restaurant that has consistently amazing pasta that we go to frequently.
